In today’s world, life is much more hectic.  Technology, while it helps us tremendously, has made out society a world of where instant gratification is expected.  It wasn’t too long ago where we used snail mail to get important proposals to clients and two day mail or overnight was the fastest way to go somewhere.  Where we used to take months to research thing-technology has done away with library visits and the morning newspaper.  We now have the internet for instant gratification and for whatever we need and want to know within seconds.  But with that-our brains also are trying to process more information then ever before.

When we sleep, we process the information that we have learned during the day.  Our mind is like a filing cabinet and during sleep our brain categorizes and files the information in the correct folders for future reference.
